Setting students up in the online courses is simple:
- Create a classroom
Create a classroom for a specific course. - Invite students
Share a class code or link so students can join (no login required). - Track progress
Monitor progress as students work through the lesson at their own pace. - Extend or move on
Optionally, use accompanying worksheets and lesson plans (when available). Then send students to the next lesson.
Critikid’s resources can be used for independent work, enrichment, homework, or whole-class instruction.

What happens after purchase?
You’ll receive an email with an access link. You can also get to your resources by logging in to the site with the email address you used at checkout.
After clicking the link or logging in, click the icon in the upper-right corner to access your resources or to start adding teachers.
Do admins get access to the resources?
Yes. The person who purchases the For Schools plan gets full access to all included courses and teaching materials, and this does not count toward the 5-teacher limit.
What equipment is required?
For the online courses, students ideally need their own devices (laptops or tablets) and headphones for independent, self-paced work.
If students don’t have individual devices, you can project the course on a large screen and complete it together as a class.
For the PDF worksheets and lesson plans, you don’t need any special equipment—just a printer to make copies and a whiteboard/chalkboard.
Do teachers get access to the courses for their own use?
Yes. In addition to creating classrooms and adding students, teachers can take the online courses themselves.
Can we change the number of teachers later?
Yes. You can adjust the number of teachers when your subscription renews or by contacting support.
Can I get a purchase order/invoice?
Yes. Click "Request Invoice" under the plan of your choice.
Do students need accounts or email addresses?
No. Students join a classroom with a class code.
What format are the worksheets and lesson plans?
The worksheets, lesson plans, and handbooks are PDFs you can print.
Can I assign different courses to specific classes?
Yes. You can create multiple classrooms and choose which course(s) each classroom uses.
Can teachers share access with other teachers?
No. Teacher accounts may not be shared.
If you need access for more teachers, choose the For Schools plan (up to 5 teachers) or contact us for a Custom plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking "Manage Subscription." Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Are Critikid’s resources based on evidence-based teaching practices?
Critikid’s resources are research-informed, though the courses themselves have not yet been formally studied for outcomes. They are designed using evidence-based educational principles, such as teaching through stories and exposing students to misinformation in a safe, controlled environment to improve their fact-checking diligence.
